Thanks, Marac!! "Rebellious talent"! :) I am deeply honored! I was really wrong thinking that this image will be dismissed, DNMCed, etc. It is great to be the first recipient of your top award!

Congrats Margaret on your latest ribbon. I don't know why, but the snow almost looks animated here like scenes from the Christmas movie Polar Express. :)
I gave this an 8... it was one that I really enjoyed in the bunch. There was so much going on, but not too much to distract the viewer. Very nicely done and congrats on the ribbon!
Congrats on another ribbon Margaret :) Strange voting, my image spent 6 days going South and yours went Northward all week and you pipped me at the post ;)
Congratulations on the ribbon Margaret. See? Sometimes the DNMC folk will expand their horizons if they really like an image. Keep pushing the edges, let the ribbons come as they will.
Fabulous landscape, lovely processing. Frankly, I thought it was borderline as far as meeting the challenge, but that doesn't change anything about how beautiful it is. Congrats on the yellow!
This will do very well, excellent location but more importantly the photographer has managed to capture the mood and feeling very well. The detail in the tiny trees is great, there is a wildness that is blended perfectly with the sky to make a very pleasing image. I have just started my own personal top 3 selections so congrats on 1st
