These are the famous "Painted Ladies" in San Francsico.
I took full advantage of the Advanced editing - the "ladies" were one shot and the background city was another.
Although there are still too many hotspots for my taste, this image is about as good as I could do with a freezing girlfriend that night.
I hope to go back again when it is clear to spend some more time (a future challenge maybe?)

Superb use of DoF here, but I think it isn't quite sharp enough where it needs to be. Love how the townhomes look miniature! The composition is great too! Nice lines and layers!
This is really nice. I love how your layers draw the eye across the grass, to the houses, over the roofs and into the city. Looks a bit too yellow on my monitor, perhaps a cooler white balance would reduce the yellow and blue the sky. Good luck
