I like to think that at night when no-one is around they perform an elegant dance, swirling their skirts as they pass each other, finally sinking back into the asphalt for another day's rest.

The manhole covers on their own are interesting. Love the textures, tones and of course shadow. Congratulations on some nice comments and a little bling.
You know what is the strangest for me? It is a pretty picture. And then I started to wonder. Do designers of manholes consider how it would look in it's working environment? Add a ring of knobbles, or move the cutouts off-center? This should be used as motivational poster at the Institute for Manhole Design. Thanks.
This is unique to the challenge... which I like. something different and out of the box. nice detail and focus... just the right amount of color. well done
