Maybe, I don't have an eye for photography anymore but, I don't get why the seed pod on the ground did better than this NOR, do I get why this was considered "too dark" when half of what goes on the front page is this type of tone. *SIGH*

I happen to like this shot, Jo. Good job!

ETA: On second thought...I don't get why 3/4's of the ones that ranked above this one got where they did and this one beneath them?????

A good shot, but seems a little dark and the colors a little drab. The sharpness of the flower doesn't seem to be there, either. Good choice, but I believe with a few minor adjustments, the photo could have really come to life.

There are so many other subjects that are stronger than a "daffy" for conveying the theme of this particular challenge.
