This deserves so much more! Everything so perfect - that crazy, heavy vertical line making me look up, the fault in the white, even the choice of size, I love it! But... are you sure it's in the right collection? :)
Btw, digging through my DPC photographic memory database, that strong diagonal reminded me of Clive Nolan's entry in Fine Arts 1... so I'm memorizing this image right next to it.
I just don't know WHAT it is exactly about this image but it makes me stop and stare. It is like when you glance at something then you stop in your tracks to take a longer look. These two sculptures of woman look both alien and tribal at the same time. The tilt of the yellow stucco wall strongly invokes the idea that they are going up on an escalator while I am going down. These 'skinny girls' mayhap are going shopping up on the second floor:-)
