Here I am drawn to the wonderful lighting and the warm expression that lets me know I would enjoy knowing this man. Though there are some other excellent portraits, this is the only one in my top ten.

What a great portrait! This guy's face says things are looking up and there is hope for tomorrow. There's an implied story about him, but I can only make guesses. Doesn't matter because my day is brighter for having met him.
