just change the date of exposure on the submit page. right now it will say today's date which is outside of the challenge submission requirements. change it to the day you took the photo.
Trying to upload for the challenge and it is saying that the dates of my shot is out of the challenge dates.

Thats weird as i see many images been disqualified for that very reason so why is this happening to you?
The date field on the submit page is not where SC checks the date of an image. That is shown just for viewer sho want to check info on an image. They check the date for validation purposes from the exif information attached to the original file you are asked to submit. This challenge is a special case where the image must be taken before the challenge was announced. I suppose someone could back-date their camera to enter the hidden gem challenge with a photo taken this week, but I doubt it since it is such a rare chance to enter older images into challenges.
