Curious to find out how many DPC'ers have an interest in football (soccer) and are making the trip down here to South Africa to watch some of the games? Apparently most of the tickets that were purchased by foreigners were bought by Americans (followed by British and German fans).

I would have loved to have gone but the ticket prices are just too much, that coupled with hotels and flights upping prices for the captive audience just puts it beyond my reach, so I will have to watch it via my armchair!. Interesting that most tickets sold were to Americans.

.. at one point there was talk of making the World Cup accessible to Africans as it is in their own backyard. So much for that.
