Note:
The hoodoo pictured in the Wikipedia reference called the "Toadstool" from the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument is the same one as in both B&W images posted.

Additional Note: In Wikipedia it erroneously states that hoodoos range in size from about human sized to bigger than a 10 story building. I can assure you that hoodoos can be much, much smaller than human sized... like this one I found:

Great images by the way. Sorry - forgot to express that in my earlier post. And the B/W ones are my particular favorites. If they were hosted on DPC they would be favorites.
