Just wondering though, why am I ranked below people when my average is higher and I have entered the same number of challenges? I don't mean to sound like a sore loser, I just don't understand.

Your Current rank [5] is based on the total points you have earned; in your case that would be 3666 points.
The ranking are based on three criteria.
1. Challenges entered
2. Average
3. Percentile
These points are added together to get your total score.
4th place is ahead of you in entry points (+11) and percentile points (+18). You are ahead in average points (+27).
Entry Points -11
Average Points +27
Percentile Points -18
----------------------

So basically, a high score doesn't help as much in a high scoring challenge where you rate 10th, as much as a lower score in a low scoring challenge where you rank 1st?

Your right. You may score a 6 in one challenge and your percentile would be 90% but a 6 in another challenge my only yield a percentile of 80%. By using these three criteria, including entries, it evens out the playing field.
