By checking the DPC photographer profiles, there are four DPC people there, however, they are not active at all on DPC. I am guessing that the best chance is that you will find another DPC er headed that way.
I was talking with a company that has a coffee plantation there about recommending some drying equipment for them a few months ago, so I know that they have some fine fresh coffee there. I was hoping that they would need me to go there for a hands on look at the place, but it didn't happen.
I haven't been there but I go to Barbados frequently (my husband has a lot of family there), which is right next door. The reason I mention that is because when we go to Barbados we drink a lot of Carib beer, which is made in Trinidad. Good stuff. :o)
Well, I will drink a beer for you! and coffee and rum, too. I think I won't have wifi so I'll have to post pics when I get back. Hoping for birds, flowers, & scenics.
My wife is a Trini, and we've been there a couple of times visiting her extended family. Some of the best rum is from Trinidad... highly recommend a tour of the Angostura distillery... also a trip down to Mayaro and Manzanilla are a must.
