Probably 50 per cent of my bird shots are taken within walking distance from my house. The little birds, finches, tits and the like are every where, I just follow the noise, and I am lucky enough to have a small lake just round the corner. As birds are what I most like to photograph I spend ages up there. The Kingfisher is my next challenge, fast and elusive but I have seen him twice in the last 10 days so I am feeling encouraged.
