I'm participating on my first challenge outside DPC and i must enter with 5 shots from 3 categories:
Natural Life (Fauna, Flora), Landscape (Urban or natural) and Architeture.
They are basically asking for different angles and good light and composition. It's for a gas station company. It's probabbly easier than DPchallenge and macro of flowers will probably fit nice, for landscapes i have my P&S and i may get nice DOF's, for architeture i have to look for unusual but pleasing perspectives, right?
Any tips for me?

you've given yourself enough advice already. Don't you see what you just wrote?

"they are looking for different angles". What does that impart? Don't shoot it head on, shoot it top-down, from the floor, in the background of something. Like you've already said: different angles.

"Unusual but pleasing perspectives"- well, get high, get low, get left, get right... see what sticks.

You've got everything you need right there, the rest is for you to go and actually do it and find your own road map.

Angles:

The view looking up to the sky from beneath a long stemmed flower is a shot that I like. Take a lot of shots with your P&S and it will be hit and miss, but some should come out nice.

Good light:

Find a an area that you can shoot with a wide angle, preferably with slightly rolling hills and shoot it when the sun is extremely low on the horizon and raking across the landscape. This could dramatically bring out the texture of the land. This works well on an area with relatively even heights (no trees or buildings) such as rolling sand dunes or farms of wheat or corn, etc.

Composition: First of all, consider the rule of thirds. Then maybe consider using the Golden Spiral or the Fibonacci Spiral.
