I am donating a print to the Mississippi Wildlife Federation to be auctioned off for a fund raiser and they said they would put a stack of business cards on the table for me...the problem is I have no cards printed and need to redesign my current card. I'm leaning toward a front/back card with a photo on front and information on back. I'm probably going to use moo for printing and use either their Minicard which is 1.1in x 2.76in front and back or their traditional sized card which is 2.17in x 3.31in. They let you select 100 different photos for printing the cards so I think that would be a neat thing to have. What is your opinion? Should I just stick with traditional cards?

I'm no expert, but in your logo, is there a reason why PLS is bigger than the others? Well, I sorta see why the P and S, but why the L?
Because I'm not expert either :) Seriously I have no idea why I did that..I'll make the L smaller and see how it looks. I have a feeling it will look better...thanks!
I like it better visually with the larger L for some reason even though it doesn't represent anything.
I'm not tied to this logo either and I don't think I'm even using it on my web page. As a matter of fact I think with the moo cards the back can only be text so I couldn't use the logo anyway if I go with Moo. My problem is I can't decide what I want :)
I think the L DOES represent something. Name is Price, but the photos are Priceless. It works, because you're separating the name Price from Priceless - makes the play on words a bit more obvious.
LOL Eric, now why didn't I think of that? Thanks George, that is kinda what I had in mind, just wanted to separate out the syllables.
Thanks Andres, that looks really nice, I like it! That makes me want to just stick with traditional business cards and not the moo mini cards, might be cheaper too.
I'll give the card a try if you like. I'm going into the graphic design field and I need more examples for my portfolio (which I need to have done at the end of the month). keep in mind that I'm definatly a rookie and I am self taught. I would probably like to start from scratch though. let me know.
and If you'd like to work on it yourself, I would suggest that instead of using a larger font size for the L and S to seperate Price-less and instead either slightly changing each font, make one part of it bold (eg. Priceless) or even just change the tone lighter on either half. I would try to show you what I mean but I don't have Photoshop on this computer.
Although I would hardly call this a professional opinion. hahaha
