ok, am a month late but have just returned home after our 5 week holiday to Australia and New Zealand and thought it only right to wish you all a Happy New Year :)
 Talj and I arrive at Auckland airport noon on Friday and I finally arrived home at 5pm today, a total travelling time of 42 hours so we are both a little tired.
I was really looking forward to pouring a glass of Malt and browsing the 3000+ snaps I took but alas, the transfer from T's notebook to a portable H/D didn't seem to work so you will all have to wait a little longer to be bored with my snaps ;)
Talj is in charge of the blog and will be publishing day-by-day stuff very soon and am sure will be posting the link here. For now I'd like to say it was great meeting a few of you in person after conversing here for quite a few years!
I'll be back soon but for now I need to sort out the water tank in my loft that froze during our rather unusual cold spell as it is currently thinking about dropping into my lounge (yes, I did leave leave the heating on).
