In the past week or so, I have started to have major problems loading DPC images. It will let me load few and then it starts hanging and I can't go anywhere. It will not even let me refresh. I have absolutely no problems with any other image websites. It seems to be only problem with DPC site.
It drivers me crazy during challenges when I'd like to vote and it takes up to a minute to load an image on my monitor. I am on fast internet connection. I have not changed any of my settings, nor am I running any firewall or prohibitive software. I've been here over a year and this has just started happening recently.
Does anyone else have similar troubles, or am I just loosing it? Any help is greatly appreciated.
In IE6, go to Tools>Internet Options and there's a button for deleting files.
In NS 7.1, go to Edit>Preferences and under Advanced click cache and then click clear cache. There's also an option that you can select so pages won't cache.
OK, I've tried loading few images and it didn't work. After the second image, the third one didn't load, it just hanged. I couln't go back or forward, couldn't go to home page either. Had to restart internet explorer. It's so frustrating.
I love DPC, but if I cannot view more than two images per restarting exlorer, it makes me so mad (at my computer).
I've been to PBase today, and I had no problems browsing hundreds of photos. So why do I have trouble with DPC. Maybe it's trying to tell me something...
