First: What would be an appropriate amount to charge for digital files of some of my photos, that another business would like to buy to use for manufacturing photo puzzles. I will "de-tune" the file size, so that the quality will be good up to maybe an 8" x 10" size only.

Second: Are there any "canned" sales agreements out there, that I could have the other person/company sign, to help guard against others selling my images as prints (vs. just for the puzzle application).

Thanks in advance for any pointers here.

You might try the Stock Photo Price Calculator or go to one of the major stock companies (Getty, Alamy, etc.) to get a starting point.

One of the biggest factors will be whether or not they want/need an exclusive license -- exclusivity should cost a lot more than routine stock usage. Other factors are how many are they going to print, do they intend to use the image in print or web promotional materials, and how long they want the license to last.

Thanks - I will check those web sites. They will not have exclusive rights, so I am still good to sell the images on my own.
