Depending on what else is in the shot, it *might* be possible to do so. Using the Hue/Saturation control, pick "reds" and slide the saturation slider all the way left. Now tweak the color selection points so that the red-eye is affected, but not the skin tones (if possible.) If you find that you can do this part successfully, you might try sliding the "lightness" slider a little to the left as well so that the pupils are darker gray.
