Don't let frustration change your goals. Learn to make small modifications in your approach and/or style to reach a larger audience. That usually means polishing your photo skills and artistic impact.
For instance, my last photo seemed to strike a chord with folks and I got some cool feedback. If I were to reshoot I think I have some idea how to slightly modify the photo to get a broader appeal but keep my own style.
The difference it seems between the really good photographers and the learning ones is that the good photographers have simply polished their style enough that they can appeal even to folks who might not like their overall style but appreciate their skill and perspective.
Thats my big goal here...:-)
