This place advertises direct downloads instead of selling, and shipping the discs.

They claim that it's the hard copies and shipping/handling that's the expense.

I'll upgrade to CS4 if this is legit.....

Not alot about them on Reseller ratings. Only one review and he said he returned the product, but did receive the refund.

Hmm...

That review's from '07, so it's not like this has the earmarks of a grab-and-run operation.

They have Elements 8 for $29.95.....maybe that'd be worth testing.

I did not click on your original link, download sites like the one described are notorious for spyware and scams.

But I did a whois on the domain name out of curiosity. It was registered 6 days ago out of Russia. Maybe it was a renewal, not digging deeper though. That raises enough question marks that me personally, I'd leave it alone.

There is no oem/downlod version of Photoshop... There hasn't been an "OEM" version of Photoshop since 4.0. When PS
5.0 came out, Adobe did the 5.0 LE version for OEM bundles. And
after that, they started doing Photoshop Elements.
