Greetings to all and thanks for the comments you have been sending regarding the critiques you have been getting... I haven't seen a negative comment yet, so the project must be somewhat successful at this point :)

I have been getting a few requests for specific critiques of photos that were not assigned. Unfortunately, we will not always be able to fill these requests since there are so many photos each week to cover.

I also appreciate the additional volunteers that have come forward. I will be getting to those sometime this week also.

I dont think mine was assigned #84 I'd really like a critique if someone has time.

This looks to be working well, though I know it's early days.
I wonder if we can implement some kind of request thing now so that we know we're getting comments out to those people who want them before those who are indifferent.
I do think if it's just a check box on submission everyone (90%+) will request it - I'd still like to look at the idea of having people come back and check a box after results appear - say by Monday noon or midnight - that way those who have gotten great feedback during voting won't bother and we can concentrate on those who still need further feedback.
If that makes any sense at all??
Anyway, just a thought!

If we are going to have a check box system I would suggest making it a multiple choice rather than just a straight yes/no.

There are some photos on which I would really like a critique, and some which I don't mind if they get skipped.

How about a 3-way selection:
- No, I don't want a critique (default)
- I would like a critique but it's not hugely important (or better words to that effect)
- Yes, I would like a critique

I know most people would likely just hit yes, but I like to think some would be responsible and make use of the second option.
