okay I finished the slidshow, I made it with windows movie maker cause I couldn't figure out the other program. Now Windows MV doesn't let you burn to a DVD only a CD so how do I do this? does anyone know?
I think it might depend upon if you need a menu system and all that or if you're just going to be using it in a computer. If just in a computer, you can just drag and drop and treat it like a data disc. Open the empty disc (obviously no contents), drag and drop it there and write the contents.
I'm not positive if you would be able to just put that in a DVD player connected to your tv and have it work though, but I'm not at home to test it out. I'll give it a go after I get off work this morning to see.
thanks, I tried that already but it won't play in the DVD apparently you you can copy it to a DVD in the video camera so I'm trying that now to see if that will work..
I do have a dvd durner, and have made them before. I'm just trying to figure out how to get it to work in the DVD player.. thats what I can't figure out..
ah. you probably need a program to write a menu system. Hopefully somebody will step up with some freebie software. You could try checking out download.com which is run by cnet and guaranteed virus free. They probably have some free dvd creation software.
can't import to premiere cause it's a .WMV it' won't accept that file
Of course it won't open it directly as it's not a premiere file. However, you can start a new project and import the video as one of the components. I've done this several times in Premiere Elements so would think the Premiere Pro allows you to do that as well.
