went to conowingo dam and could not believe the number of adult and imature bald eagles i saw there! Was a great day!! this is just outside pa in md on the susquehana river
can't shoot from dam, no walkway or anything thereif you cross the dam from th east side (1 south) hang a left right after crossing and hang the next left it takes you to a boat launch and kind of park. take your longest lens's!
I've seen Bald Eagles flying overhead as we crossed the Susquehanna on I95, but didn't realize they were nearby in quantity. Next time maybe I need to schedule a little side trip into my travels. Thanks for the heads up!
well i shoot them with my canon all the time!!! guess i'm in trouble now!!!lol it was a lot of fun there there were adult and youngsters droping fish in the parking lot, they were perched in the trees above it i've never seen such a sight except for pictures from alaska There were quite a few photogs there too!
I live in Virginia, so it's not out of the realm of possibility to get there, but it's not feasible time-wise because of the holidays. But I want to live vicariously! More pictures, please!
