While it's true that the color is much better in your reshot, I prefer the cropping and composition of the first one. In addition, I would consider cloning out the thing on top of the roof of the museum. I think your entry shot suffered more from poor exposure and a lot of the problem with color balance would have been fixed with better exposure.
While looking at it yet another time, I think I would reshoot it again and this time use a portrait format, instead of the landscape format you used initially. Make sure the left side of your frame gets pretty close to the bottom edge of the sundial so that you don't include extraneous elements that you have to crop out later. |
