I found them in a pet store and brought them home. :)
Australian Tree Frogs are not native to Alaska. In fact you have to be really committed to keeping frogs here so that you meet their needs both nutritionally and with the habitat you keep them in. These guys are nice and pudgy as they are well fed. They have good coloring as their habitat is kept at the right temperature and humidity level. The smallest one is the male - he calls to the two girls. It was really cute when I first got him as he was so much younger and smaller. His hormones were ready way before his physical body. lol
Any time I think of Australia and frogs I think of that Simpsons episode when Bart brings a non native species which ends up becoming an epidemic.
