Last week I was at a local park to meet a family for a portrait session. Family was a bit late and while they were waiting I shot pics of 2 adult bald eagles and 2 youth bald eagles soaring far overhead. I had my portrait lens on the camera, which is short and wide. Not great shots. After they soared for a bit I ran to the car for a long lens and by the time I got back they were too far away for any decent shot. Still, I know that they are still around and that at least one nesting couple is just a few miles from my house. :)
