I haven't read the entire thread, so excuse me if I'm repeating things already said, but I think all the wonderful little things that are better in the D300 isn't really going to make much of a difference in the photo's you'll get. In some genres the features would probably play a larger role than in others, but I still can't see how it should be enough to justify the larger price. On the other hand, the build quality is something worth paying more for. The D300s is a pro body. It's sturdy, a bit larger and the weather sealing is better. I have a D90, and it for me it feels a bit like a toy next to a D300. So when I upgrade one day, I'd make the jump to full frame, in order to get the pro body, but also the better image quality. Just my thoughts. |
