Seems like many will do the Painted Face and not this one. At first I said I wanted to do the Painted Face one too but I'm starting to get some ideas about this one now. hmmm Dilemmas dilemmas.
Aw.. just realised I had a brilliant symmetrical shot that I took a week ago!!! I prob won't get to go back to that place in time for the challenge! Grr...
I tried a Painted Face shot last night and failed terribly. At least my husband had a good laugh out of it. Wanted to try Symmetry but I've sat down, had a glass (or two) of wine and there's no way I'm getting up. Perhaps after three glasses I will give it a shot. :/

After 3 glasses of wine, symmetry is a blurry concept. ;\
I'm posting this one here to keep myself from entering it, LOL. I have used this skiff too many times in the last couple months. So enjoy!
On a more serious note, the challenge description says "Capture a photo in which symmetry is present", which it certainly is here. But the photo, as a whole, is NOT symmetrical. Would have been interesting to see (*will* be interesting to see, on other entries in voting) how the voters feel about asymmetrical images with symmetrical elements...
Rob, I had a really great Face Paint shoot 3 days before that challenge was announced so I had to create another shot for Symmetry III. I went OOB, allthough there is symmetry in my shot, it needs more than a cursory glance, speed vote, move on to next image. I hope voters will take the time to look this time round...
