Well, 12 days later Beck was finally able to fit a visit to the clinic into her schedule, after the doctor telling her to leave the stitches in for 10 days.
The hand is still just about as puffy as in the original picture. He took out the first 4 stitches (end toward the palm) and just as I was leaning in for a better look because I thought it looked a little loose at the edges, he put a thumb on each side, gave gentle pressure, and it gaped wide open again.
He says, "I think we'll leave the rest of those in for a few more days." Yeahhh, I think that's maybe a good idea! So three more days and they'll look at it again. Sighhhh. |
