You should submit a ticket if you want SC to respond to this. Just click on the HELP tab, then choose the appropriate drop down tab
As far as I know you only get DQ'd for violating the editing rules. You may get lower scores if someone feels you are not honoring the spirit of the challenge, but that depends on the voters' opinions.
The way I always think of it is, don't give the voters an excuse to give you a lower score (unless you don't care about the score that is).
I certainly don't think it would be DQ'd (though you should always get confirmation from SC), but if someone is looking for a reason to give you a lower vote that might just be it.
You cannot add text to the image itself, but adding additional text to the title will not get you DQd. DNMC doe not equal DQ. You cannot get DQd for not meeting the challenge description. It must be a violation of the editing rules.

Anyone who would vote a photo lower simply because the title included the techniques and a short title is narrow minded, and I hope they do not vote at all. We need to allow people to use creativity both when taking photos, and when naming it.

I have decided to give my entry a unique title followed by the three techniques I used. AND LET THERE BE WAR.

My reply was for anyone reading this thread that had it in their head to be narrow minded enough to vote a photo down because it included an extra title.

Yeah I'd be careful on that one. That sounds like you are asking for DNMC. It gave you a choice of techniques and didn't give the option of adding more. I'd stick to the list.

I think that if you had a macro shot that satisfied three other technique... for example, a closeup shot of a backlit flower, with a shallow DOF and shot in the rule of thirds.... then it should be fine. Just because you got close in to your subject or used a macro lens shouldnt DNMC you, as long as you have three other techniques.
I see nothing in the challenge description that would suggest you cannot use macro... or wide angle... or anything else for that matter.

If you want to add Macro I would make sure that you add at least 3 that are required by the challenge rules then add your macro after the fact but I would not count your macro as on of the techniques used. IMO that would be a DMNC
Thanks guys...I will stick to the script...lol thanks alot...just didn't want to go out on that limb and be "hacked" off...bad enough when you follow the "description"
