actually judy it might not be too hard considering all the choices. you have shallow and deep dof, so you're bound to have one of those. then there's stop motion or blur, so you might have one of those. then either rule of thirds or centered - almost always have one of those. for instance my last entry had rule of thirds, shallow dof, and portrait and could be argued that it also has leading lines and is low key.
i think there's to many choices and i think it'd be more of a challenge if there weren't any opposing techniques.
