I may be the only one interested, but I am interested in how many folks decide to "watch" a thread and how many decide to "ignore" it. How about a counter that tallies these decisions for each thread.
High watched count means lots of folks with a longer term interest. High ignored count ... well you can do the math.
If you disagree - feel free to ignore this thread.
Since there IS no stat for this, how can it be "anonymous"? And how would a counter like the "times viewed" one we already have be a threat to individual anonymity, anyway?

R.
I was thinking along the lines that if this were to be implemented, that I'd personally want them to be anonymous. I just think that someone, somewhere is going to get upset if they see that their thread is ignored by X number of people, especially if they can see who's ignoring it and they particularally like those people.

If something like this was implemented (and I'm not sure it's worth the time, since i don't think the watch/ignore features are used all that much), I'm sure we wouldn't reveal anything more than aggregate totals.

I've thought this would be a fun statistic to have also, and wouldn't be that hard to implement (easy to say as the one that doesn't have to code it). :-)
