I'm feeling a bit silly now. Having spent a lot of time looking at these images and offering some very considered scores, it seems my votes have been scrubbed. I voted on enough for them to qualify, my bar turned blue. Yes, my average was unusually high but I thought scrubbing was to get rid of troll and anti-troll voting. I think I offered a strong rationale for all of the scores I offered.
I can still see the votes I gave by ordering 'by my vote' but I get no red bars for any of the images I have checked.
I don't think I've been hit by commenting on DQs - I did self-DQ (because I uploaded the wrong (but perfectly legal) image), does that invalidate my votes?
Given that I invested about 10-12 hours looking, thinking, commenting and voting, I feel a little robbed.
I can't speak for the votes, but I really appreciated the long comment I got from you on my FS image. The vote wouldn't make a huge difference overall, but the comment does and it stays, so don't feel too bad!
if you voted on exactly 20% of the images and a couple of them got DQ'd or self DQd such as your own. Then it would automatically change the percentage to a different number, However that number should go up if there are less images in the challenge. Unless the DQ's were images you voted on, Hmmm You should send in a ticket and ask about it. Seems like an unfair glitch in the system not only to the voter but to the person who may have lost a few spots if you gave them a nice score and it got scrubbed.
I would echo it may be a glitch in the matrix if one or two of the ones you voted were dropped. Perhaps in the future vote 21% to be sure? Nevertheless, I, too, am very grateful for your thoughtful and considered comment on mine. It is nice to see someone spend more than a second or two on the photographs. Your efforts are very much appreciated!

I was so aware that I said that I had given him a 10 in my comments - I know I'd feel a bit disappointed if I were him and found that I didn't have any 10s I might even feel a little misled.

Bugzeye is correct. If any of the images you voted on were self DQ'd or DQ'd, then you slip below 20% and indeed get scrubbed.

Thus it appears you cut it too close.

It's rare that I vote only 20%, usually vote on all entries, however if I am only doing 20% I'll vote on 5 or 6 more than needed to avoid this situation.
It is possible that your votes were counted. I have noticed several occasions when I know my votes were included, but the red bar did not get displayed for my vote. For whatever reason, it did not get that info pulled from the database along with the image.
Did you give all 10's (or close to that)? I remember one challenge where I stated that I was going to give all 10's. I was told by SC that if I did that they would all be scrubbed. Maybe that's why they're gone. Sucks to have all your comments dissapear, though.

The comments stayed so that's fine.... It is probably by fault. Just got around to adding all my scores up:

21 X 7

Which is only 77! I wonder whether I lost some scores when I went back to correct some of my bad spelling - is that possible?
Well, it appears I brought it all on myself. I DID vote on 80 but because there were 401 to begin with, I actually fell just under 20%, even there were only 400 to vote on (since I self DQ'd!).
Not sure why my voting bar turned blue but there you go.
Apologies to those people who suffered score reductions. I'll ensure I give myself a bigger buffer next time.
