Seriously, too glossy, it does not capture my interest after a couple of viewings.I find interest is a big part of my voting. 5 would have been my vote.

This is my outtake... or not.. I did go out to take pictures and was alwyes trying to remember to buy banana, but I forgot it... I would put the banana on the fance there and let it hang... but as you can see.. NO banana :(

They've already appeared in other challenges, but if you replace the banana and so did not have a banana in the image then I doubt it would go down well with the voters. Unless of course you mean it looks like a banana and then I think there would be more.... weird problems not related to DPC.

Appeared in the "Contrast" challenge and finished in last place
It's okay, but didn't really apeal to me overall, hehehe
Seriously though, not a bad idea but like others have said, very shiny, needs better focus and not quite so much contrast (this coming from the person who loves contrast in shots!).
If you were going to try that shot again, as simple trick is to toss the banana slices in lemon juice. This stops fruit from turning brown. It would have been more appealing without all the icky brown spots. I probably would have rated it a 4 or 5. It kind of depends on my frame of mind at the time of voting (which is why I review my votes since I found out they can be revised).
Couldn't you come with this sooner? I had this problem all day, all my bananas were turning brown in minutes because of the heat of my halogene lamps. I needed to change the model on each shot :)
I eated all the dismissed modells now I'm kinda sick too. I'll probably thow up when the voting begins :))
