Can ICorrect Plugin (EditLab, OneClick, Portrait) be used under basic editing?

This plugin does not create a new layer, or new mask, applies on entire image, from what I can tell just quickly adjust curves and levels and neutral levels.

Thoughts? Anyone using it? Just wondering?
