Yeah, im looking at the classes that are offered and man oh man is there some awesome stuff in there. The sports shooting stuff alone is enough to justify it for me, but I think this is osmething I'm definitely going to do...only downside...Ill probably be sharing a hotel room with my parents and my wife (the joys of having a mother thats a working photog as well haha)
If you are a member of the Student Photographic Society, you get in free. Membership to the SPS is under $30. I joined today and had a quick look around and there are great membership benefits even if you aren't going to Nashville. I believe all you have to have is an e-mail ending in .edu.
Looks really cool. I wish I could make it. Someday I will be able to go to these things but right now cost and time away from work is going to make it imposible. Someday.
After extensive meeting with my bosses (fiance last night, mom this morning) it looks like this is a definite for me.
The only stipulation I got from the Fiance (aka wife in less then 3 weeks) is that I have to go to a show at the Grand Ole Opry...almost grounds for me to cancel the trip, but ill bring an ipod or osmething haha.
