I've missed hanging out here as much as I used to, but my life has been too full for the past few months. All good stuff, though. :)
I still think often about this wonderful community and how much it's given me, so I wanted to say happy new year and share a photo and explanation of this holiday that I took as part of a DPC self-portrait project a few years ago:

Slippy, we have a saying based on something called the Four Questions that we ask on Passover. The Hebrew phrase is "mah neeshtanah halailah hazeh," which means "why is this night different from all other night?"
So if you ever say something like you did, and a Jew responds, "mah neeshtanah," now you'll know what it meant. ;)
