I am currently looking for a good place where I can purchase empty frames for some of my photos. Does anyone know of a good place online that they can recommend?
not necessarily an online source...but...I have been getting great frames from TJMAXX, Home Goods and Marshalls....they have some great black, silver and clear glass ones all the time...for the wall, table etc...in a variety of sized...I usually pay about $12-14 per 14x16 frame...and they are in great shape...don't forget to ck out their clearance area...they often have good frames there that they just have to "clear" out....on occasion Ross' but theirs are quite "spotty" for getting multiple ones of the same look...

I am needing between 30-50 frames to fit photos from 16x24 to 24x36.
they have those sized...I just don't usually shop for that size...16x24 maybe...what price have you been finding...another thing you could ask someplace like Jo-Ann fabrics and see if they could order you a "lot" of them...for a discount...(they have great coupons to use) just thought of a couple more places IKEA (they have "large" lots of frames) Tuesday mornings....what kind of "quality" are you looking for?
Michael's and IKEA often have sales on frames so since you want quite a few maybe one of those or check for a retailer who would give you a bulk discount (though 30-50 may not be considered bulk).
Jaime, you can frequently find items sold in Lots on ebay. I did a quick search and didn't see any great deals right off, but you might wanna keep an eye there. Personally, I get mine from all over - Michael's and Hobby Lobby frequently have big sales. I've also been known to buy some ugly bit of wall art just to steal the frame from it if I find a good price. Yard Sales are a good source too. Never worry about the color or wood tone - black spray paint fixes everything. :D
Can you answer a question for me? Someone has asked me to upload one of my pics as a print, can I upload any of the sizes in the aspect ratio list on the sellers info page, ie 100:1. My pic is almost a perfect square and obviously won't crop to a 10x8. Thanks

Yes, the image aspect ratio has to match one of the aspect ratios listed and be at least 150dpi to be accepted for your public store. If it doesn't match then you can't sell it in your public store but you can order your own prints. When ordering your own prints you have the option of fitting the image to the page size selected or cropping and filling the frame of the chosen page.

I have been given a month per building (total of 4 to 5 buildings) to display my work from the Property owner company of several buildings in the Downtown Houston, TX Area. The work will be displayed in the Lobbies of each building where corporations reside here in Downtown. They have given me 10-15 large pillars per area to display. So of course me being the overachiever, I want to Mat, Frame each photo. Do I really need to frame the photos? I am doing it just because they would look nicer.

I'm not sure that you need to...I would put your "very best" pictures in frames but some of the others could be just matted....right....can you have a look around and see what some others have done...and I am sure someone else will have an opinion about that as well here...hmmm Cause if you are talking 30-40 frames this would break my bank, at say $20 a pop (and that is modest) $600 - $1,000 (ouch)
I guess the only way to get a price on that site is to give them your credit card number and wait for the bill to come in a month. Sheesh! Must be extremely expensive to buy there.
