Greetings to everyone and thanks to those of you who have completed your critiques for the "Photojournalism" challenge. I have created the new assignment list for the "Blue" Challenge. I took a brief look at the critiques for the Photojournalism challenge tonight. Everyone is doing a great job. If you have not completed your critiques for the Photojournalism challenge (from what I could detect quickly), I did not assign you any photos for the Blue challenge. I know the week is not over yet, but I wanted to get the new assignments done ahead of time. If your name is not on the list and you would like assignments for the Blue challenge, please let me know.
I have spread the assignments across the entire scope of the challenge this week. I have also bumped the number of critiques to 5, but there are a few that have 6. If you are unable to complete these critiques, or are unable to participate this week, please let me know so that I may reassign your critiques as soon as possible.
Those of you who are willing to take extra critiques, please let me know so I will know where to assign the extras.
Now, as a critique club member, if YOUR photo does not fall in this list (all odd numbers are in this list) please let me know. I will make sure that all members photos get a critique.
Hi John, this is my first Critique Club critique to do. How do I find out which photo is number 33, or 79...? Do I leave the critique as a regular comment in the voting section? Should all of my critiques be done before Sunday night, and if not, then just leave the critique as a comment after the challenge ends?

Richard, you will critique the photos after the challenge... the numbers you have been assigned are the finishing order for the challenge... you will be leaving 'after the fact' critique :)

John, I'm sorry that I did not yet write the critiques to the photos assigned to me. But I will do this today. I only have time for DPC and photography in general at the weekends. So I'm not quitting and you can assign new photos to me for the Blue challenge. But please not more than 5. Thanks!
In a previous thread I noted my willingness and availability to do critiques. I received no acknowledgment at the time, and I see that I am not on the list still. Do you therefore have enough or already too many people joining in? Or did I just get forgotten?

John, I finally finished last weeks... I guess I get stuck with even numbers for being late :)
I had an idea... Once the challange is over and you know which numbers are assigned out to folks, maybe if you post the unassigned ones. Then people can post and say they will take another and pick one from the unassigned. This way when someone goes to pick another, they can see a list of what's already done and you don't have the extra work of assigning more. After we do the assigned, we can 'self-assign' more without duplicating the effort.
Ok, maybe that isn't actually a complete 'idea', but it has the makings of being one.
