My year here in the metroplex is just about over as my last class at UTA ends next week. I'm asking anyone who's been to the metroplex or lives here - where can I go for some awesome photography?

I want to take a shot of Downtown Dallas at night, maybe even relfecting off water like I've seen in some photos, but this area is still new to me and I need opinions! Any cool buildings to visit? parks? landscapes?

ANY hints or tips for taking some awesome photography of Arlington, Dallas, or Forth Worth is really appreciated.

dallas arboretum rocks... as does the fort worth one... downtown at night is pretty good... you can do some interesting documentary in deep ellum and/or west end... check out reunion tower, too.. that complex is interesting, plus you can go up into the observation deck and get an awesome shot of the skyline...union station was also pretty interesting..
lets see.. what else... oh.. the trade mart during the daytime is pretty cool.. its open and usually empty too..there are also some nice spots around white rock lake

those are the only cool spots i can think of... unfortunately, dallas is what i like to think of as a "photographer's hell".. its just not that interesting...

i suppose six flags at night would cool, too... but not sure as i havent tried that... hmmm...
