Ok I am doing some work in photoshop cs4 and when I make my layers sometimes it will not let me paint on any layers its like thier all locked but they are not, sometimes i can save it as a psd and open it back up and it starts working but this time it didnt work, so I flatten the image thinking that would help but its not anyone have any ideas wth is going on

i've never had that particular issue happen.. it just seems sometimes cs4 acts funny.. for instance, right now, I can't shortcut to the marquee tool.. maybe tomorrow it will work, but today it wont.. i never had these issues with cs3..lol.. sorry, wish I could help..
