I feel that I am going to score very low on the habits challenge due to the fact that some may not see what I was getting at. I guess I should have titled the picture better.
Oh well. It is only my first try, I will improve for next time.......I hope.
Some challenge topics are more difficult then others. Something straight forward will sometimes but not always garner the highest score. Originality will usually gain some extra points. Remember that this is a worldwide site.

I scored low on the opposites challenge because some voters didn't see past their nose. I agree salt is not the opposite to pepper but black pepper looks opposite to white salt... Get it? It's a visual photo challenge not a taste test.
They seem to be getting my habits entry so I can forgive them now.

Unfortunately if some people do not see the connection instantly they may vote down. Wrong, but an unfortunate fact of life here.

Look forward to seeing some stunning Sydney images from you in months to come .... they have to be better than the ones I took from the bridge when I was down there earlier this month!
You want it as obvious as say... fire and ice, you know really blatant, but of course it can't be so obvious that others will have the same idea, cause you'll get nailed with a bad score there too. So is this a conundrum or a paradox?
If you do something obvious then you can bet that someone else will have the same idea, therefore you have to be exceptional in your execution in order to stand out.
For example there were several fire and ice images in the opposites challenge, the majority were blandly lit, uninteresting samey samey images. However there were one or two which really had the wow factor.
