Thanks for the comments on these. I had a blast shooting them.
I got a few questions about the photos and the settings, so here you go....
Settings:
I shot with my D300 and 18-200 VR. Almost all the shots were done at 200mm at 5.6 ranging from 1/500 to 1/800 at ISO200. I had continuous spot focus and fast continuous shutter release. I used a circular polarizer on (Cokin) for all the shots. All the shots were taken hand held from the shore. Thankfully the waves were crashing fairly close to shore so I could get decent details. I was very pleased with the details I was able to pull out.
Processing:
Basic RAW conversion with minor exposure adjustment. Topaz Adjust (Photo Pop) on a duplicate layer and backed off opacity until happy with contrast etc. Hue/Saturation to increase cyan and yellow and lighten reds. Resized to 1440, Adamus Sharpening, save for web.
