Well, I've been here for 5 years now and have seen many come and go. There are some members who's leaving had left a gap in our community for reasons other than "lost photographic excellence". These individuals may have touched us in ways that gave us a rash, photos made us wince or perspective left us in speechless awe. These distinct entities have added a spice which had been unprecedented yet always left a blemish er "mark" on our culture. In some strange way, they are the bent bottom piece of bacon, the broken thread on a shirt collar, or the barely visible stain men wear on their ties. They are the unsung anti-heroes and deserve recognition.
We can always count on them for exhaustive debates, volatile confrontations, extreme misinterpretation of rules, miraculous stunts of lunacy and in some cases, admirable photographic under achievement.
They are special and in my opinion, add the spice which keeps this place interesting. They deserve to be "Skinned and Roasted" in a manner which will punctuate the zest of their contribution and allow others to enjoy their unique aroma.
Well, that's my lead in.
I'd like to start a regularly featured thread flushing out some of these special users and ask the community to share their fond experiences with all who may wish to enjoy the "Far Side" of DPC.
Lets keep it civil and lets learn to laugh at ourselves a wee bit.
I'll select a candidate with some regularity and start the thread with a 3 image display of three of their most "unique" images and a few "nuggets" of their forum decorum. If you have nominations, PM me and I'll look into it .... maybe. ;-)
We will chuckle, to say the least, and reveal the wonderfully diverse attributes we all share as DPC members.
If you want to roast someone who can both dish it out a take it, I suggest Slippy. StrikeSlip Love him or hate him, he's one of the most colorful characters here. Lots of potential ammo for a roast too.

Regarding "roasting" previous members who are now banned or who have left under ignominious clouds of suspicion & anger, this seems to me to be in questionable taste. I think we're better off roasting people who are still with us, but maybe that's just me. An obvious candidate is Art Roflmao...
