does anyone else have this issue with FF; not refreshing when going from page to page. The only time it refreshes for me is when I click on home on the top menu. I can click on a thread, read it, back out and it still shows the folder blue until I refresh my browser.
if i "back" out instead of going "home" yea, it doesn't refresh. but, as best I can remember, it has always been that way. (and it is logical to me, because if I go "back," that thread hasn't been read yet. :P)

Using FF Before clicking on thread: Current Server Time: 07/29/2009 12:25:37 AM EDT.
When I click on thread: Current Server Time: 07/29/2009 12:26:03 AM EDT.
Using the back button: Current Server Time: 07/29/2009 12:25:37 AM EDT.
Notice that when I hit the back button the Current Server Time is the same as it was when before I clicked on the thread.
And the folder stays blue as if not been read.
Using IE Before clicking on thread: Current Server Time: 07/29/2009 12:24:35 AM EDT.
When I click on thread: Current Server Time: 07/29/2009 12:25:01 AM EDT.
Using the back button: Current Server Time: 07/29/2009 12:25:19 AM EDT.
Notice the Current Server Time continues to change even when backing out.
And the folder in now gray showing it has been read.
Try it on your system and see if it does the same.
Same thing happens with Safari / Firefox on the Mac. When you click the back button on Safari it shows a thread as being read, but when you do it on Firefox it still shows as being unread. I think Firefox must just bring the entire page back from the cache when you hit the back button without checking for changes.

Most browsers have a setting for when to refresh/check for changes to a previously-visited page.
I can't find anywhere in FF that would allow a user to alter or change the way the brower refreshes a previously visited page.
NOTE: each situation has its advantages.
In FF while typing a post if you want to click on the back or forward button or a link before finishing your post, you can and it will be there when you hit the back button. An example would be GeneralE's post that I'm quoting. I can click his username next to his last post, go to his profile, then click back and my post will still be available to finish.
In IE, since it refreshes each time you click the back button, forward button, or link as described above when you go back to your post it will not be there and you will have to retype everything.
