Try searching the forums for "stock price calculator" or something similar for help ... the fee for stock usage could range from $25 - $2,500 USD depending on usage, circulation, duration of agreement, your greed and their budget.
For a "magazine" of moderate-to-wide circulation I'd expect a stock payment perhaps in the low hundreds ... but maybe their policy is to only "trade for photo credit" or something. I think you'll have to figure out what your bottom price (if any) will be, and then just ask them what their typical agreement in such circumstances might be ...
