This happened to me the other day on a pre-wedding shoot - I fired off a few shots and they asked to look, I generally dont let people but on this occasion was VERY happy with the results so let them. The guy then said "Wow, its amazing what you can do when you have a really good camera" and I fired back (quite rudely thinking back on it, for which I kind of regret now), yeah, and Stephen King must has a kick ass typewriter, have you read some of his stories...
But it came out sounding rather shitty and condescending.. ouch.. They were a really sweet couple as well which makes me feel worse.. in future - keep mouth shut and agree..
LOL! Yeah, sounds like you, Simms, but you really should save that for us and not take it out on clients. Especially nice, paying clients. :-)
I did two weddings recently, albeit for free. I'm not in your category, but I was quite pleased with the results. I think hanging out here may have helped a little.
