I found out the hard way with a filter. The sand was not on the glass, but rather on the edge. I was more interested in cleaning the glass so I wiped it with a cloth, but in doing so a grain or two dislodged and got trapped under the cloth. The result was a small but real scratch in the multi-coating. I learned my lesson after that to take sand seriously. |
