Its an investment, you go out there and learn all that jazz, you come back and make that money back (and more!) using what oyu just learned. Its not worth going to if you just take pictures and photoshop them for no other use than having pictures around your house.

i get the student pricing too, i didnt even notice that before. jeez, im glad im doing it now and not when im an adult, that gets reeeeeeelly expensive:/

My funds are pretty tapped out, as I'm going backpacking for a couple weeks in August and ::hopefully:: going to New Zealand for three weeks towards the end of the year.
I'm a student, but not a full time student, so if they looked into that I'd have to bite that $599 bullet.

Pshh. Im an adult. The secret is to always have a student ID, even if it means taking one class a year at a community college.
No kidding! I'm actually in a graduate program and just bought CS4 Extended for like $195 (sells for $899 on Amazon.com since I wouldn't have been upgrading). Certainly makes me feel a tiny bit better about paying $30k for this degree! :o)
