Wasn't there talk a while back of the DPL coming back? But looking at the forum archives... looks like that was more than a year ago.
After reading that initial post on that thread.. I'm trying to think, what the heck has changed on here that was so pressing that DPL had to be put on hold.. I know I must be missing it.. But, can't seem to figure out what those "other fish" were that's needed frying..

WPL/DPL motivated me...I've completely lost interest in dpchallenge and will probably let my membership lapse unless WPL comes back. I didn't really care about winning or loosing, but the friendships made and encouragement was awesome.
So, does this mean you've talked to Langdon and DPL isn't coming back?

No I have not talked to Langdon and I don't know when or if he plans on bringing it back. I don't see a problem reintroducing the WPL since the DPL has been stagnant for so long with no news of it's return. As long as everyone play by the rules (i.e. do not vote on a team members photograph) we should have a problem. Langdon know that I have the highest respect for this sight and the users here and I wouldn't bring back the WPL if I thought it would pose a real problem.
I think the majority of users here are honest people when it comes to rules and regulations at DPC and therefor I feel comfortable hosting the WPL again. With that said, if Langdon contacts me and ask me not to go forward with this I will respect is wishes.
After voting we were able to see the results. But going back to the page I cant figure out how to see the newest results. Is there a specific link for the results page?
It does seem to me that you had an awful lot of work to do to keep the league going. And it did get a bit too much for you. I would not like to see that happen to you again.

It was the last time I really participated in earnest.
Most of all, my team mates were/are totally awesome, inspirational, provided excellent feedback from which I learned a metric ton, and made me better as a whole. I cannot say enough about my team.
man we need SOME sort of league, i've been averaging a 6.3 over the last few months and its all been for naught! :P
Don't worry a 6.3 average would be for naught in the league. :P
Well excuse me, I suppose you're right, if the top ribbon winners get together for the purpose of ensuring victory then I would not be involving myself anyway :P
